some more quotes to write down. tonight ella and i were having another conversation about how she doesn't want to grow up. during our little talk i was asking her about her friend lydia who had a birthday recently and i asked her if she remembered how old lydia had turned on her birthday. she says, "no, i can't remember. but maybe we should ask daddy because he is smart." what?! maybe she is picking up on my mommy brain syndrome! i said, "so daddy is smarter than mommy?" and she said, "well mommy you are a little bit smart and daddy is smarter." we continued talking through this and she proceeded to giggle at her mommy's response!! there was no way i was going to let her continue to think her daddy was smarter than me...no way! :) so i guess daddy will be the one to help with her algebra homework in future years....(have fun, honey!).
i also wanted to mention another cute thing that evan says. whenever we take the kids to home depot or lowe's, they always want to get on the riding lawn mowers. right when we pull into the parking lot, evan always says, "i want to ride da mows!!" he picks out the lawn mower he wants to sit on...and says "i ride dis geen mow" (i ride this green mower). such a cutie pie.

You're both Berry grads - which means you're both crazy smart - like me!
yeah, and rusty can do their calculus with them too!
give those kids kisses from me!
You might want to check with Rusty on the this one... My dad trained us to say he was smarter at very early ages. He would hold the cookies, and give us one if we said "Daddy is the smartest".
